Master Gardeners connect to community through service.  We grow as Master Gardeners through volunteering, for we are each journeyman gardeners learning more each season.  We also teach others through empowering ourselves and others to strive towards a verdant, vibrant horticultural community.  Our volunteers lend their energies to help achieve mission goals of valued partners across Northwest Michigan. Explore our friend’s websites to discover how you can better make their missions a part of your own.

There are many horticultural education opportunities in our area. The volunteering and horticultural educational programs may count toward your Extension Master Gardener certification. Please refer to the website of the host organization for full event details, and always HAVE FUN!
