The Real Dirt

The Real Dirt is the bi-monthly newsletter of MGANM (Master Gardener Association of Northwest Michigan), published in January, March, May, July, September, and November. It is produced by a team of folks who ‘dig-up’ news and interesting topics to share with gardening friends and members. It is our goal to provide a wealth of interesting and useful gardening and gardening-related information from original and local sources. We welcome article submissions, topic ideas, pictures, and the like.

Beginning with the May 2021 edition The Real Dirt has been redesigned to be more user friendly and make finding articles easier using an all-inclusive format.  When you click on May 2021 (and the subsequent editions) you can immediately read any or all of the articles, print the newsletter or portions of the newsletter, and/or save it for later or historical reference.  If you click on an article title in the table of contents you will immediately be taken to that article.

With the March 2021 and prior editions, the link will open the newsletter email. To read a particular article, click on the article  link. Also, if you would like to read the articles in a blog roll fashion, click here

Only MGANM members receive the newsletter emails for new editions.  Click here  for membership information.
